What are the benefits of TPMS?
A tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is a safety feature in for cars that alerts the driver when one or more tires are significantly underinflated. The system uses sensors located in each tire to monitor the air pressure and temperature.
When the system detects that the pressure in one or more tires is too low, it sends a warning signal to the car’s dashboard. This warning can come in the form of an audible signal.
By alerting the driver to low tire pressure, a TPMS helps improve vehicle safety by reducing the risk of accidents caused by blowouts, skids, or other tire-related issues. It also helps to improve fuel efficiency and reduce tire wear by ensuring that the tires are properly inflated.
There are two types of TPMS: External and internal. External TPMS uses sensors mounted outside each tire valve to measure the pressure and temperature of the air inside the tire. internal TPMS, on the other hand, internal Tpms fits inside of the tyre which need any tyre shop for installing..
Most new cars are equipped with TPMS as standard equipment, and many countries have regulations requiring TPMS to be installed in all new cars. If your car doesn’t have TPMS, you can buy & insatll in ur car.
